Smoky Valley High School

My name is Mrs. Williams, and this is my fourth year teaching here at Smoky Valley. I have worked in education for over a decade in many different roles, but being a teacher is my favorite! I graduated from Nickerson High School in 2006 and attended college at Barton County Community College and Kansas State University before finishing my Bachelor's in Secondary English Education at Ottawa University in May 2020. I'm currently in graduate school, seeking my Master's in English Literature from Fort Hays State University.

My husband, Cody, is the site manager at Matheson Gas in Salina, and our boys are happy to be proud little Vikings! Jude, 12, is in 7th grade at SVMS, where he plays football and basketball as well as competes in wrestling and track, and my wild man Hoyt, 8, is in 3rd grade. Our daughter Kaycin, 13, attends Valley Falls Middle School in Valley Falls, KS, where she plays volleyball and softball. We are all very happy to be a part of this incredible Viking community!
