  • 3-Dimensional Patriotic Art Contest. See Mrs. Charvat for more information. Applications are due by March 31, 2026.

  • American Petroleum Institute Scholarship--Scholarship is available to students enrolling full-time in undergraduate degree program at an accredited two-year or four-year college OR a certified program at a trade/vocational school.   • Kansas Crime Stoppers Association Scholarships--Must be a graduating senior of an accredited Kansas high school. Applications are due by March 20, 2026. See Mrs. Charvat for an application.

  • Mid-Kansas Cooperative Scholarship--High school seniors and college students are eligible to apply. Must be a child or grandchild of an MKC member-owner or an MKC or Producer Ag employee, or indicate if you are an MKC member-owner or employee.   • O'Brate Foundation Scholarships--Available Kansas youth ages 17-25 who have been in foster care or are transitioning into independent living AND youth who have limited resources. Apply online before May 1, 2026. https://obrate.smapply.org/

  • Nick Charvat Vocal Music Scholarship--Available to students who are involved in vocal music AND future plans must include music and/or education. Apply before March 27, 2026. See Ms. Charvat for an application.

  • Salina Family Healthcare Scholarship--This scholarship is designed to honor former Salina Health Education Foundation Board Members and Finance Committee Members by granting scholarships to future healthcare providers. SFHC looks to encourage and support individuals 16 year of age or older who want to enter the healthcare profession in the state of Kansas. The healthcare field includes, but is not limited to those studying the practice of medicine, dentistry, behavioral health, pharmacy, optometry, healthcare ancillary services, and healthcare administration.   • Saline County Farm Bureau--Preference given to students pursuing a career in agriculture. For field of study not related to agriculture, a Saline County Farm Bureau membership is required. See Mrs. Charvat for an application. Apply before March 31, 2026.

    • The Korbe Family Nursing Scholarship--For SVHS seniors or alumni in their freshman or sophomore year of college, pursing their Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Apply before April 10, 2026.

    • Jordan Heimer Memorial Scholarship for Allied Health Education--Scholarship will be awarded to SVHS students enrolling in college, vocational/technical school or trade school to pursue a career in the healthcare field. Apply before April 10, 2026.

    • Mae Walline Nursing Scholarship--Applications are open to CNAs who are employees of the Lindsborg Community Hospital or Bethany Village OR SVHS seniors and alumni seeking to further their career in nursing or another healthcare field. Apply before April 10, 2026.

    • Lindsborg Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship--For SVHS senior seeking to complete a degree in a healthcare field. Apply before April 10, 2026.

    • Jack & Glenna Ross Memorial Healthcare Scholarship--Applications are open to traditional and non-traditional students who have completed a high school degree or the equivalent, and reside within a 30-mile radius of Lindsborg. The applicant must enroll in any accredited college or university to pursue a career in the healthcare field. Apply before April 10, 2026.

  • Lindsborg Arts Council Scholarship--Open to all SVHS students. Students must enroll in and complete an arts related course during the first semester of their freshman year of college. Apply online before March 23, 2026. https://www.lindsborgarts.org/high-school-scholarships/

  • American Legion Scholarships--Lindsborg American Legion scholarships are open to any current USD 400 high school senior (to include SVVCS), a home-schooled senior within the geographical boundaries of USD 400, or any senior who has enlisted into the U.S. military. Each applicant must be a student in good standing and have/had a relative that honorably serves/served in any branch of the Armed Forces of the United States of America; this includes parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, siblings or aunts and uncles.

  • Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post 2715 Scholarship--Scholarship available to McPherson County seniors. Applications are due April 30, 2026. See Mrs. Charvat for an application.

  • Distinguished Viking Leader Scholarship--Applicant must carry a minimum 3.5 cumulative gpa. Eligible candidates must be working toward a degree at either a 2- or 4-year college, university or junior college. Applicants must be full-time students at Smoky Valley. See Mrs. Charvat for an application. Applications are due April 1, 2026!

  • Marquette American Legion Scholarship--Applicants must be a senior from an area high school and an immediate relative of a veteran. See Mrs. Charvat for applications. Applications are due April 15, 2026.

  • Freedom Fighter Scholarship--This scholarship is for students who are passionate, driven and ready to make a difference. Apply online before April 10, 2026. https://ideatek.com/scholarship/
