About Me

Welcome to Smoky Valley High School

I have been honored to serve as Principal of Smoky Valley High School since 2020. The Smoky Valley community is a wonderful place, one that deeply values education and takes pride in its public schools. Every day truly is a great day to be a Viking!

My background includes teaching and administrative leadership in both large urban schools and small rural schools in Kansas and Oklahoma. I live in Lindsborg with my wife, Leslie Mangrum, Professor at Bethany College, and our daughter, Clara, who attends Smoky Valley Public Schools.

I believe in fostering an environment where the following principles can flourish:
