Intro to the Weight Room:
Any incoming 7th graders or new students to SV, please join us this week! We will teach proper form on major lifts, weight room safety, expectations, and anything else that may benefit them as we hit the weight room hard this summer!
Sessions:
Girls-
Tuesday/Wednesday from 9:00-9:45am
Thursday from 8:30-9:15
Boys-
Tuesday-Thursday from 9:45-10:30am
*All sessions will be held at the SV weight room, on the Northwest side of the high school. We will learn something new each day, so do your best to be there for all three. This helps a ton as we jump right into our strength program full-time next week!

USD 400 Schools are In Session on Wednesday, Jan 8! (No Zero-Hour)
Blacktop roads are still slippery, so if you feel it is unsafe for your child to drive to school, you can keep them home. Please notify the school office (785) 227-4254 and their absence will be excused.

The home basketball games vs Hoisington have been postponed and will be rescheduled. All USD 400 Facilities are closed to practices and events for the remainder of the day.

Due to impassable roads and dangerous wind chills, there will be NO SCHOOL on Tues, Jan 7, 2025 for SVHS, SVMS, SES and MPS. An announcement about evening activities will be made on Tuesday.
