Attention: Incoming 5th Graders!
On Wednesday, August 12 & Thursday, August 13, specific groups of 5th graders are invited to SVMS for an orientation/question/answer session which will last approximately 45-60 minutes.Students should enter the front doors of SVMS where they will be greeted and gathered. Groups will be 10-14 in size, with masks being required. Only 5th grade students planning to attend SVMS are invited. When orientation sessions are over, students will be dismissed through the front doors. Parents are asked not to gather with the groups to keep the numbers low. Information about a parent orientation will come in the days ahead.
Here is the specific schedule for the orientation groups planned. We are asking students attend the specific session that coincides with the beginning letter of their last name, and not to switch sessions. Our goal is to keep sessions very manageable sizewise.
Wednesday, August 12 last names beginning A-C from 8:30-9:30 a.m. last names beginning D-H from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Thursday, August 13 last names beginning I-M from 9:00-10:00 a.m. last names beginning N-P from 10:30-11:30 a.m. last names beginning Q-Z from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
