Effective Immediately:
Beginning on Monday, November 15 through November 23, masks will be required for all students and staff in the Smoky Valley Middle School 6th Grade due to an increase of positive COVID testing and quarantining in those classrooms.
This precautionary measure will be implemented to mitigate the quarantining of students and help prevent the potential spread of the virus.
The USD 400 Board of Education and Administrators will continue to closely monitor case numbers and quarantines as the Thanksgiving Break approaches. If conditions do not improve the mandate may be extended.
