Central Kansas League

2020-21 COVID Guidelines

(starting January 29, 2021)

These are the guidelines that we, as a league, will be following at all sites. Obviously, if city/county guidelines are more stringent, those guidelines will need to be enforced and conveyed to the visiting schools.

  • Fan Attendance:

    • Home: Maximum of 4 spectators per participant(s) family (must be family members, spectator passes are non-transferrable)

    • Away: Maximum of 2 spectators per participant(s) family (must be family members, spectator passes are non-transferrable)

    • Names must be on the pass list to be admitted

    • Spectators only stay for the game that they are on the pass list for.

    • Schools have the right to be more restrictive if local guidelines require it or social distancing cannot be maintained.

      • For example: Small gyms and wrestling events will be more restrictive

  • All Events:

  • Essential personnel only on the court

    • No pre- or post-game fan gatherings on the court or other places inside the school facilities.

    • Modified post-game sportsmanship

    • Masks will be required to be worn by everyone except the current activity participants

      • This includes, but not limited to, coaches, players on the bench, people at the score table and gate workers.

  • Social distancing required. (stay in family units)

    • We are requesting that parents/guardians only attend the games their kids are playing in.

  • Temp checks:

    • Teams will need to do temp checks prior to loading buses for away activities

  • Live Streaming (Middle/High School)

    • Each school will do their best to live stream all events

    • Schools are to inform visiting schools of the link to their live streaming
