Mr. Burton is a graduate of Colby Community College and received a Business Education degree from Fort Hays State University in 1994. Corey completed his master’s degree from Emporia State University and District Leadership License from Fort Hays State.
He has been a teacher at Hillsboro High School and principal at Hillsboro Middle School. Mr. Burton served as the Jr/Sr. High School Principal at Ellis Public Schools from 2006 until 2019. Corey Burton is currently the Superintendent of Schools of USD #388, Ellis Public Schools.
