Remote Learning Extended Through Thanksgiving for SVHS, SVMS, and SES
Smoky Valley USD 400
Thursday, November 12, 2020

McPherson County has recently moved to COVID Phase 2 and is labeled RED.  There has been a major upswing of positive identified cases reported in our county over the past few weeks, and hospitals across the state are filling up quickly.

Due to an increasing number of COVID related cases in our area, USD #400 will be extending the Remote Learning Model (PreK – 12) through Tuesday, November 24.  The district will assess the situation over the next two weeks.  An announcement will be made no later than November 24 as to how we will return to learning after the Thanksgiving Break on November 30.

The district plans to move forward with the SVHS play and middle and high school activities with very limited spectator participation.  You will receive more details very soon.
