Smoky Valley School District offers online enrollment! The schools will mail enrollment packets containing online enrollment instructions and details to parents the last week of July. If you are unable to complete the online enrollment, computers and assistance will be available in each building August 1st from 9:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. School offices will close at noon on Friday, August 2nd.
Families new to the District should contact the school(s) listed below for enrollment requirements. Please call or stop in before August 7th.

Transportation for Special Education students to McPherson will begin on August 13.
The school district will provide transportation for all students (grades Pre-K through 12) residing outside the city limits of Lindsborg. Students residing in Marquette will be picked up by the buses on the west side of the MES building for transportation to Lindsborg. Transportation will begin on Thursday, August 15. Note:A transportation request form must be completed by all new students requesting transportation, including Pre-K and Kindergarten students, if a form was not completed at Kindergarten Roundup and Pre-K registration.

STUDENT ACTIVITIES / SPORTS
* Cost per SemesterThe Smoky Valley Board of Education recognizes the need for assisting families in need. Fees for Activities/Sports shall be waived for students who qualify for free meals.
Free and reduced meal applications will be available at enrollment. Meal applications should include the names of all members living in your household, including the name of your child even if he/she is attending special education classes in McPherson. If you have children enrolled in more than one attendance center in the district, only one completed application needs to be submitted to any one of our school attendance centers or the USD #400 District Office.
Meal service will begin regular operation in all buildings on Thursday, August 15. Meal payments are due with enrollment fees.
(Extra milk will be available at a cost of 50 cents per 1/2 pint)
