Mrs. Lori Nelson was honored last as the 2022 Smoky Valley IMPACT Teacher. As the Soderstrom Elementary Music Teacher, Mrs. Nelson works with all of the elementary children in the district and helps instill a love of music and the arts.
The IMPACT Teacher Award is given out to one Smoky Valley teacher each year and is meant to recognize the teacher's positive influence in her classroom, school and community. Mrs. Nelson is an excellent example of the quality of the teaching staff in USD 400 Smoky Valley and we were excited to announce her award in front of students, colleagues, friends and family.
Mrs. Nelson will be formally recognized as the 2022 IMPACT Teacher at the October Board of Education meeting! Congratulations Lori!
