Other American Legion Scholarships.  These are due February 15, 2019!

Great Plains Association for College Admissions Counseling.  Find eligibility criteria and apply online before February 15, 2019.

The Kansas Association of Directors of Plant Facilities Scholarship.  Students must be residents of Kansas, graduate from a Kansas High School, and plan to attend a Kansas College or technical school.  In addition, only children whose parent or legal guardian is actively employed in a K-12 or a secondary institution and engaged in buildings and grounds, food service or transportation position shall be eligible for these scholarships.  Applications are due by February 15, 2019.

Greater Salina Community Foundation Scholarships.  Due February 15, 2019.

Dr. David Whitney, KARA Agronomy Scholarship.  Students must be majoring in an agronomy related field at KSU.  Preference will be given to juniors and seniors at KSU.  Deadline to apply is March 1, 2019.

Wester Energy/Haines-Weber Scholarship Program. Must be pursuing a degree in electric power and distribution, power plant technology, wind energy, industrial technology, or other industry-related degrees. Due March 1, 2019.

White Scholarship Foundation.  To be eligible, you must be a college math or science major or a high school student planning to major in math or science; must be pursuing or planning to pursue a career in math or science; and students must have been a McPherson County resident upon graduation from high school or use the scholarship at a McPherson County college.  See Mrs. Charvat for an application.  Applications are due prior to March 4, 2019.

Better Business Bureau Scott Mecham Student of Integrity Scholarship.  These awards recognize students who personify values, leadership and integrity.  Applications are due before March 8, 2019.

KCA Construction Education Foundation Scholarship.  Students must be enrolled in a Kansas college, community college or technical school for the 2019-20 school year.  Applicant must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a degree related to a career in construction.  Students earning a bachelor's degree must have completed 2-years of study in the related field.  Students seeking an associates degree or certificate are eligible upon high school graduation.  See Mrs. Charvat for an application.  Applications are due March 15, 2019.

Kiwanis Club of McPherson Scholarship.  To be eligible, students must be planning to pursue a career in the medical, law enforcement and educational fields. See Mrs. Charvat for an application.  Applications are due prior to March 15, 2019.

Kansas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (KACRAO) Scholarship Opportunity.  To be eligible for consideration, students must be in their senior year at a Kansas high school; have a cumulative seven semester GPA of at least a 3.25; and submit an application.  The deadline to apply is March 15, 2019.

Lindsborg Arts Council Scholarship.  Only college bound seniors in the Smoky Valley District are eligible.  All recipients are required to enroll and complete an arts-related course during their first college semester.  Also, all applicants are required to demonstrate their artistic endeavors.  This includes, music, dance and art.  See Mrs. Charvat for an application.  Applications are due no later than Friday, March 22, 2019.

Crime Stoppers Collegiate Scholarship.  Students must be in good standing, on track for graduation from an accredited, Kansas high school.  See Mrs. Charvat for an application.  Applications are due March 25, 2019.

Nick Charvat Memorial Vocal Music Scholarship.  Students must have participated in at least two-years of vocal music AND college plans must include music OR education.  See Mrs. Charvat for an application.  Applications are due on March 29, 2019!

Ad Astra Books & Coffee House Cash Hollistah Scholarship.  This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior in North Central Kansas who shows merit in the field of community enrichment, as well as written, musical or visual art.  Students must fulfill academic requirements and plan to attend an institution of higher learning.  Applications are due before March 31, 2019.

Post #140 American Legion Scholarship.  This application is open to any high school senior who has had a relative serve in any branch of the Armed Forces of the USA; this includes parents, siblings, grandparents or aunts and uncles.  See Mrs. Charvat for an application.  Applications are due by March 31, 2019.

Kansas Seed Industry Association Scholarship.  Applicants must be high school seniors or college students; must plan to attend a college in Kansas; must be seeking a degree in Agronomy, Ag Education, Ag Econ/Business, Ag Communications, Food Science, Grain Milling, Ag Technology, Ag Farm Management, Horticulture, etc.  See Mrs. Charvat for an application.  Applications are due April 1, 2019.

PEO Chapter CC of Lindsborg Scholarship.  Must be a female senior graduating from SVHS in 2019; recipients must be involved with school and community activities and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.  See Mrs. Charvat for an application.  Applications are due on April 5, 2019.

Lindsborg Community Hospital Scholarships.  Apply online for the following scholarships.  Scholarship applications are due prior to April 5, 2019!

Korbe Family Nursing Scholarship--For students pursuing a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

Lindsborg Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship--For senior student seeking to pursue a career in healthcare

Jordan Heimer Memorial Scholarship for Allied Health Education--For senior student seeking to pursue a career in allied healthcare

Mae Walline Nursing Scholarship--Scholarship open to current CNA's at Bethany Home OR to seniors at Smoky Valley High School pursuing a career in healthcare

Kansas Financial Scholars Essay Contest.  For senior students who is planning to attend a school of higher learning in Kansas, and who has or is participating in an approved financial education program (we are here at SVHS).  Application are due prior to April 1, 2019.

O'Brate Foundation Scholarship.  The O'Brate Foundation invites youth with limited resources who are pursuing higher education, to apply for a scholarship.  Scholarships are based on financial need and range is size from $1,000 to $5,000.  Scholarships are renewable to the age of 25.  Apply online before May 1, 2019.
