Cost - No cost to USD 400
teachers.
Out of District: $50 per
workshop
Bring: Macintosh Laptop with iWorks 08, etc., classroom materials and files as listed in course descriptions.
Non USD 400 teachers may want to bring a key drive on which to save the files created.
Food: Sack Lunch - Coffee and a morning snack will be provided
Additional Hardware: If you have access to a digital camera bring it and all of the cables!
The workshops are designed to build a cache of information in new formats. Teachers are asked to bring classroom materials to each workshop. By the end of each day the teacher created examples will be saved to a server for adding to
Workshops all run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Bring a sack lunch so we can work through the lunch hour.
Each workshop is geared to developing materials for use in the classroom whether it is a virtual classroom or a traditional classroom. So, there is a list of materials to bring to each session.
The workshops all use software that is installed on your Macintosh. Please make sure that you have iWork 08 on your laptop!
