Students who wish to attend SVVCS must complete the following program requirements:
 
 
1. Complete the pre-enrollment process. Each student and their family is asked to arrange a visit to SVVCS. The pre-enrollment interview will help families decide if SVVCS is the best learning environment for the student.
 
2. Provide SVVCS with a complete copy of the student's immunization record, birth certificate, and a copy of the student's transcript from the school most recently attended.
 
3. Students - Read and agree to the terms of the Student Contract by signing and returning the contract to SVVCS.
 
4. Parents -Read and agree to the terms of the Student Contract by signing and returning to the contract to SVVCS.
 
5. Agree to complete the Online Student Time Log showing the hours the student is engaged in online learning each day of the school year.This is a requirement of all Virtual Schools by the State of Kansas.
 
6. Students and Parents - Attend the required SVVCS technology orientation session concerning online access to the curriculum, student/teacher communication, Powerschool grade manager, and access to our virtual classroom portal. These sessions must be attended in person for those students and parents who are new to our school.
 
7. Academic success depends greatly upon the attitude of the student and his/her willingness to complete assignments by the respective due dates. Parental support is also an essential ingredient for student success.
 
8. Failure of students to remain current in their studies will result in the student being placed on academic probation. Academic probation requires daily communication with SVVCS in order to remain a student in good standing.
