If something doesn’t work on your computer,
please RESTART before you come to the LCU.
Q: What does LCU stand for?
A: Laptop Care Unit
Q: When I plug in my iPod it tells me I have to update software, what
do I do?
A: Bring your laptop AND the iPod into the LCU and we will be happy
to update the necessary software.
Q: What do I do if my keys fall off?
A: If only the key is missing and the rubber part of the keyboard isn’t
missing, simply stop by the LCU and we will replace the necessary
keys. If the rubber part is missing, bring the laptop by the LCU to
replace the keyboard.
Q: What do I do if my computer just goes to a black screen and you
can hear the fan spinning?
A: Most likely it is a problem with the Main Logic Board in the laptop.
Please bring the laptop to the LCU for inspection.
Q: What do I do if I am missing the rubber feet on bottom of
computer?
A: Do NOT glue them in, we have feet available in the LCU and we will
put new feet on your computer.
Q: What do I do if my computer won’t eject my CD?
A: Please bring the laptop to the LCU to eject the CD.
